INTRODUCTION:
-------------
Hello fellow F1GP/F1GP-Ed user :)
Since registering to Oliver Roberts' great editor I have been transforming
my version of F1GP to how I've always wanted it. From 1995, aswell as
updating the driver/team data, I have been concentrating on designing a
professional looking replacement cockpit image for the game, as I hated
the dated original.
I have seen many cockpits created by other F1GP-Ed users but to me they
seemed very cartoony and were inaccurately drawn, far from what I wanted.
My plan was to create a neat, realistic and fully functioning design.
Unlike the other designs I have seen, I have attempted to simplified the
image by yellow-masking areas that are of no use. This has made the image
clearer and I feel easier to work with. These yellow areas DO NOT AFFECT
F1GP OR F1GP-Ed !!!
The cockpit includes features from the PC versions of F1GP & GP2 aswell as
those devised by myself. Please note that I created this cockpit with
edited colours, so in order to use it properly you will need to IMPORT THE
IMAGE'S PALETTE INTO F1GP-Ed (V3.32 & above) or adjust the palette editor
manually. The image looks a bit shit in the original colour scheme.
I have tried to copy the palette used in the PC game IndyCar Racing as it
was always a lot more realistic than the F1GP's. I feel they give the game
a fresher, more realistic look, and the brown colour can be used for the
pitcrews skin tone :)
Enjoy!!!
(The image was created on an A1200/030/50mhz with a 1.3GIG HD & 10MB RAM
using Personal Paint 7.1)

Please E-Mail me with any feedback or suggestions you might have, as I am
always trying to improve the design.
New versions are usually available from the F1GP-Ed site, but I will
personally supply you updates on request. Datafiles also available!!!
Thankyou.
